The original prospect of choosing a reputable builder seemed a daunting task, however, we have to say we are more than pleased with our choice of builder and would not hesitate recommending your services to any prospective home owner. Indeed we are proud of the work and will be pleased if you need to use our home as a reference site. As you are aware my wife works from home with young children and we very much appreciate the way all the team conducted themselves around the home and the children and even at times sharing your lunches! At the outset we expected 8 weeks of upheaval but were pleasantly surprised at the minimum amount of disruption that followed. Not only were we very lucky in finding a builder of your calibre we hope that you can remain in touch in the future.

We were extremely pleased with the work that BW Reed & Son carried out for us. They started exactly when they said they would, always put in a full days work, always left the site very tidy afterwards, very safety conscious (especially as we had 2 young children), advised us of any difficulties either due to weather or suppliers, treated our home with great respect, charged us exactly what they quoted - none of these hidden extras. All in all they did an excellent job that I believe was excellent value for money and I would recommend them to anyone.

You're looking for reliable, trustworthy, professional builders who are also polite and friendly. Sounds like a very tall order, but they do exist and we have used them - Brian and Paul Reed. They did an extension for us and we can honestly say we are extremely pleased with the results; from start to finish. What more can we say - these guys are really good - use them!

With reference to the extension that you built over our garage, I would like to thank you for your hard work and to say that we couldn't have been happier with the result! My wife and I appreciated the quality of work and the attention to detail,(the brick match was perfect). The fact that you left the site in good order each night was particularly appreciated, having young children running around we were particularly relieved that the house and garden was left neat and tidy with all the equipment being stored away. We were also impressed with the relationship that you and your employees had with ourselves, this allowed us to discuss progress with you easily and led to us being entirely satisfied with the final product.

B.W. Reed & Builders were employed by us in May 1998 to extend our three bedroom property to a four bedroom with study. The extension was built on top of an existing garage. The work was carried out within budget, within an agreed timescale and to a quality standard. We have two young sons and they were very sensitive to this. We never had concerns about their safety during the day while the work was being carried out and equipment was always locked away and everything left clean and tidy at the end of each day. We have recommended them to other people wishing to improve their property. Several of these recommendations have already been acted upon.
